Though, some people may like this, as how you play your cards becomes a big part of whether or not you win or lose.  An annoying, (albeit minor), issue I have with the game is that each of your five colored piles has a score counter, letting you know how many points you’ve earned from that particular pile.

In order to know what your actual score is for the round, you need to add up the columns in your head.  I don’t know that there would be a good reason for this.  I mean, if you’re going to show us how much each pile is worth, why not have the total of all piles somewhere on the screen.  Like I said, it’s minor, but seems foolish to leave out.

What's my current score?!

Overall, I’d say that Sierra Online Shanghai has done a pretty good job on this title.  Because of the simplicity of the game and its lack of depth however, I’m not sure how they can justify the price tag of 800 MS points.

There are several other games out there for that price that take a lot longer to master, and have more re-playability, (Catan comes to mind).  But if you’re into card games, I’d suggest you check out the free demo of Lost Cities and see if you like it.  If you’ve ever played the real card version of the game and liked it, then you’ve probably already paid for the full version, if not, get on it.

Highs
Easy to learn; games are short.

Lows
Simple gameplay leads to low re-playability; HUD needs score counter!

Final Verdict
It’s not a bad game, but it’s not something everyone will enjoy. Price point is slightly high if you consider its lack of depth. Try the free demo first.
